Thanks to TV shows today, like "My Sweet 16", kids kind of have an expectation that they should receive a car on their sixteenth birthday.
However, in my day, it was a massive surprise to receive a hand-me-down vehicle from your parents or older sibling.
Truth be told, your sixteenth birthday is definitely the most ideal time to receive a vehicle, since it is the time we strive to get our license for the first time.
