Today, August 31, 2018 Build-A-Brand has an awesome update for you! You know have more than one option to send your Digital Business Card to a customer. On popular request, we have added two new ways for you to share your card!
You want to go to your Build-A-Brand toolkit and login. Once you have logged in, click the Business Card Icon. Click the blue add contact button. You will notice a new look. Now, just add the customers first name, last name, and make sure to put their cell number (make sure that you keep the +1 at the begging). You can still press send and save and your customer will get a text asking them to reply start. Now if you use these two new ways, listed below, your customers will not have to reply start. Your customer will just follow the easy steps to add your app to their home screen and go on with their day!
The first, of the two new ways, you can share your card with your customer is by clicking the copy link, right below the text message box. When you select this, it will generate a unique URL for you to send to your customer via text or many other ways. For example, you can take that URL, if you have an iPhone, and paste it in Safari. Then you would click the share icon at the bottom of your screen, this will allow you to air drop the URL to your customer. You customer will need an iPhone for this to work. Second example, you can open snap chat and take a photo. Click the paper clip icon on the right and past the URL in the search bar. Click, attach this URL. Then type in or select an icon to attach that says swipe up. The person you send this to will swipe up and it will allow them to download your Digital Business Card. Make sure that you only send that snap message to one person because the URL is unique to them. If you sent it to more than one person and they downloaded it, you would have a bunch of different activity from different people all attached to one name in your toolkit.
The Second way you can share your Digital Business Card is to click Generate QR Code, also located below the text message box. Once clicked, your toolkit will generate a unique QR code for your customer. We have attached how apple users and android users can scan the QR code.
