4 Ways To Make Your Vehicle Colder

Cameron Moore's Blog | 4 Ways To Make Your Vehicle Colder

The summer months will quickly approach and soon enough we will be melting faster than an ice cream cone.

So what can we do to make our vehicles cool down faster when it feels like a sauna.

Here are 4 ways to make your vehicle colder.

4 Ways To Make Your Vehicle Colder

1. Park your vehicle in a shaded area or use a sun-blocker on your windshield to keep the sun out.

2. Close other vents in your vehicle, which will re-direct more of your air-conditioning out to the vents opened, making it colder.

3. Turn your engine on, turn your blower fan to maximum speed and then turn your a/c on. Open all your windows and turn your outside air on.

Once you have driven for a few minutes, close your windows and keep the a/c on and turn on recirculate mode on for maximum coldness.

4. Do not accelerate. When you accelerate, you are sucking the energy needed to make your a/c work correctly. Be sure to accelerate slowly so your a/c actually starts blowing cold air.

Hopefully these tips will help you stay nice and cold this summer and enjoy the ride!
